Utrecht International Center service fees
The Utrecht International Center charges fees for the following services:
- Registration with the City of Utrecht at the Utrecht International Center
- Collection of residence document with the IND at the Utrecht International Center
If you need to arrange both, you can make a combined appointment to register and collect your permit in one appointment.
The following services at the Utrecht International Center remain free of charge:
- Having your biometrics taken
- Arranging a residence endorsement stickers
- A consult with our information officers at the Utrecht International Center for all your settling-in questions

2024 service fees
About the payment
You will be asked to pay the fee in the final stage of the Utrecht International Center’s appointment form. You can pay by VISA, Mastercard, and IDEAL (a Dutch online payment system). Please note: it is not possible to pay by invoice or at the appointment.
Exemptions
- International students and employees of the Utrecht University and Hogeschool Utrecht are exempt from paying for their municipal registration and collection of their residence document at the Utrecht International Center.
- Internationals registering with the cities of Amersfoort, Hilversum, Oudewater, Woerden, De Ronde Venen are exempt from paying for the municipal registration at the Utrecht International Center. Fees will be charged for the collection of residence documents.
