Do you know Theater Kikker near Utrecht’s old city hall? In this quirkytheatre in the centre of Utrecht you can see great presentations by new talent, the most beautiful dance performances and a lot of youth theatre. Theater Kikker has two halls and a cozy foyer where you can enjoy a drink before or after the performance.
Many performances are English spoken or without any language at all, also known as: Language No Problem. So there is plenty to see if you don’t speak Dutch. Please find all suitable performances via theaterkikker.nl/english.

I. My Life in Excel

Liat Waysbort / Bitter Sweet Dance
Due to a legal dispute over the care of her two children, choreographer Liat Waysbort is forced to keep track of her life in an Excel sheet for two years. In the dance performance My Life in Excel she reflects on this personal period of her life through dance and text. Memories from that time - frustration, disbelief, broken dreams, but also strength, fighting spirit and feelings of absurdity - become tangible. Language no problem!
II. Soulas Storytelling Nights
October 10, December 19, February 13 and April 16 at 8:30 pm
Funny, sad, scary, sweet, unbelievable, comforting stories: that's what Soulas Storytelling Nights are all about. Make yourself at home and listen to stories from all over the world. So come and listen to experienced storytellers and talented newcomers tell their tales. Soula Notos is a Dutch-Greek performer from Utrecht with experience in storytelling, spoken word, comedy and acting. Four times a year Soula hosts this storytelling evening at Theater Kikker. English Ghosts!
III. Youth theatre during the autumn break
During the autumn, Christmas and spring breaks you can see a lot of youth theatre in Theater Kikker. Next fall, for example, you can find the funny heartwarming performance Slinger (means something like Swinging). A performance for children from four years old with acrobatic acting about friendship and courage.
